8-15 cm
Most eye-catching feature of Cryptocoryne Flamingo is the light to dark pink colouration of the leaves. It grows very slowly in aquaria and must have good lighting to ensure successful cultivation. A wonderfully decorative addition to Nano Tanks combined with mosses or Hemianthus Cuba. The pink colouration may take a few weeks to appear on new leaves .

What is the cause of "Cryptocoryne Melt" and how is it understood?
All Cryptocoryne plants can be sensitive to changes in water parameters. It is normal for the plant to experience a "cryptocoryne melt" when it is introduced to a new tank or if the water conditions undergo significant changes (such as lighting intensity, pH, GH, KW, irregular water change, poor water quality, changing plant location, temperature, and fertiliser dosing). Established plants can suffer from melting as well. In that case, we advise pruning the leaves as they melt. This will help plants focus more on producing new leaves rather than struggling to keep the old ones. Don't be alarmed if this happens. Your plant will begin to grow back within a month or sooner, depending on the
conditions.
