Pogostemon helferi is a very beautiful plant with curly/wavy leaves which can be used for carpeting. It requires good light, CO2, and nutrient reach substrate. It will help the plant to form many side shoots that develop small roots. If you would like to maintain its low, star-shaped pattern you need to provide plenty of light. Pogostemon helferi will grow in lower light conditions but will not looks as good and will grow taller. It can be attached to the wood as well.
