Rotala H'ra is a very easy plant to grow and is recommended for beginners. Requires rich soil or at least fertilization up to the water column. The leaves are up to 2 cm long and 0.4 cm wide. In good conditions, the leaves are red-orange with flashes of yellow. The colour is very similar to Rotala Colorata. High light levels, good fertilization and the addition of CO2 will result in beautiful growth and warm colours. It looks best in groups near the rear wall of the tank. Rotala is propagated by cutting off the upper and side shoots. In emersed form it has green, round leaves. After planting in an aquarium plant will go through transition period. During that time you will see how they will be changing shape and the colour of the leaves.
