How to care for your Mystery Snail:
Keep some space above the waterline so the Mystery Snail can come up to breathe or lay eggs.
Keep the water parameters within a suitable range (explained below).
Do not use any medication or fertilizers that contain copper in the aquarium.
Provide sufficient food and calcium
Keep the aquarium covered, or else the Mystery Snails will escape.
Dont keep Mystery Snails with aggressive fish or species that are known to be fin nippers.
Min tank size:10 Gallons
Hardiness:Quite Hardy
Hobbyist level:Beginner
Water temperature range:18 to 28 C (64 to 82 F)
Water hardness range:8 to 15 dH
Water alkalinity range:6 to 7.5 pH (Avoid letting the water get below 6 pH)
Average Lifespan:12 to 36 months, depending on temperature and health.
Temperament:Very peaceful. They dont bother any tankmates
These snails will lay their eggs either on the lid of the fish tank or on the wall, high enough for it to be well out of the water. As the eggs will drown under water, when the baby snails are ready, they fall out of the eggshells right into the water.
Sent out First Class Monday-Thursday to avoid being stuck in the post over the weekend.
If snails arrive, D.O.A. photo or video evidence will be required to process any refund!
